Detox_from_feet
Detoxification is a process of removing toxins from a person’s body which get gathered in our body in various forms such as metals, minerals, pesticides and other harmful substance which prevents normal biological development of human body. We must have come across cases of disorders at younger age which were not frequent prior to world war. Toxins enter human body through various means like industrial waste drained in river which seeps through and accumulate in ground water and finally to our body through food we eat and water we drink. Detoxification from feet is a very relaxing and soothing process which ends up by providing a person with sound sleep. In this hectic life style everyone need at least a sound sleep which has become an unattainable task. Let’s see how ionic foot bath works wonder for individuals. In this process person is asked to put his foot in a tub of hot water at least for half an hour, in the mean time current is passed through which is not felt but this current will ultimately remove all the toxins out of your body through the tiny pores present on your feet in a very efficient and effective manner. The second big segment of detoxification in the human body is through skin after lungs. The current in the water helps in breakdown of water molecule in to oxygen and hydrogen. Negative ions are created in the water. Our body being positively charged absorbs these negative ions, which in turn helps in neutralising free radicals. As this process continues more and more toxins are loosened from the body which can be pesticides, pollutants, dirt particles and viruses even. When you are through to the process of foot bath one feels much relieved and relaxed and is full of energy which can be used for carrying out other activities. Amount of Toxic burden in your body determine the number of foot baths needed by your body which is approximate to eleven to twenty two baths in a period of seven to eleven weeks. Precautions has to taken before going for a foot bath. Pregnant and lactating women should avoid detoxification from feet and children below 6 years are not recommended for fotbath. Detoxification from feet is highly recommended to individuals who deal with heavy toxic elements.Foot bath is easiest and enjoyable procees which is not tiring at all but rejvenate the body and it’s functioning. while having a footbath person can enjoy reading and watch TV if he likes . Hence it is time saving also.

Bipolar disorder support group

Bipolar disorder support group
Living with any kind of illness, physical or mental, is difficult. In such a situation, it isn’t only the person, but also the family which is affected and which has to make changes to accommodate the illness. Adjustment becomes worse when a loved one has a psychiatric disorder which may not have a quick cure or may even not be curable. One such mental condition is Bipolar disorder. Persons affected with bipolar disorder experience sudden and extreme mood changes, vacillating between mania and depression. These mood shifts last for abnormal amounts of time and result in changes in behaviour and feelings. These can be severe enough to impair normal functioning as well as disrupt relationships. Since bipolar disorder can have a serious negative impact on the patient (especially in a depressive episode), as well as on the family (who have to deal with the patient’s psychosis and suicidal ideations, apart from the euphoria, reckless behaviour, increased aggression etc), it is important that there be some sort of support available in order to reduce the stress. One of the common supports used by those with bipolar disorder and their families is counselling. However there are several families and patients who might not benefit as much from individual counselling as from a bipolar disorder support group. Bipolar disorder support groups are especially for those who are afflicted with the condition and their families. Being part of a bipolar disorder support group offers comfort in that there are other people experiencing the same stresses. This also allows patients and their families to share their experiences and the different ways in which each of them handles bipolar disorder. Bipolar disorder support groups thus offer a place where patients and their caregivers can talk freely and openly about how they deal with the condition and even offer help to each other. All bipolar disorder support groups will usually have a mentor or group coordinator, most likely a psychologist or a social worker. This person usually coordinates meetings and offers professional help during the sessions. Very often bipolar disorder support groups are places where families as well as the patient learn more about the condition and gain information which will help them manage the illness better. This is sometimes very important for the family who may be unaware of the mental disorder and thus find themselves unable to deal with it. By getting the correct knowledge, they are better equipped. Bipolar disorder support groups are also very useful for the patient as it gives him or a her a platform to discuss feelings, fears and concerns, without the risk of being ridiculed or judged. Such bipolar disorder support groups may be attached to hospitals, clinics or even NGOs.

Alcohol and hypertension
Alcohol and hypertension are related directly. Bcg vaccination

Filed under: Health Information — admin @ 6:10 am

Bcg vaccination
The BCG vaccination is the accepted abbreviation for the Bacillus Calmette-Gurin vaccination used to treat Tuberculosis (TB). TB is an extremely common and very often fatal disease that is caused by myobacteria, more specifically myobacterium tuberculosis which is the most common myobacteria strain that causes TB. Of all the forms of Tuberculosis, pulmonary tuberculosis is the most common. This gives rise to the typical characteristics of TB, including chronic cough, bloody sputum, fever, weight loss etc. TB is very prevalent because it is an extremely contagious disease and spreads through the air. The difficulty with TB also is that there could be a time lag between getting infected with TB and it developing into the full blown disease. According to reports from the World Health Organization, nearly 8 million people get infected with TB every year and about 2 million die due to it. Tuberculosis has an extremely high rate of incidence in developing countries like those in the African continent, and the Indian subcontinent. However incidence of TB is increasing even in developed countries like the US due to increasing numbers of people with AIDS. TB can be treated with the help of antibiotics but the duration of treatment is long and takes between 6 to 12 months for the body to be myobacterium free. A more preventive measure to control TB is the use of the BCG vaccination. The first BCG vaccination was administered in 1921.However it wasn’t until after the Second World War that public acceptance happened and along with it commercial marketing of the BCG vaccination. The BCG vaccination is made using attenuated live bovine tuberculosis bacillus. The strain of bacillus is cultured for years in a medium due to which it becomes less virulent and can be used in a BCG vaccination. BCG vaccination is routinely used by almost all countries. However in the US, the BCG vaccination is not a routine vaccine given to children or adults since it is considered to be a relatively rare occurrence there. However, even in the US, BCG vaccination is recommended for children who maybe routinely exposed to TB and can’t be treated for latent TB, or who test negative on the tuberculin skin test. The BCG vaccination is also recommended for healthcare workers who are at risk for exposure to the myobacterium. However, the BCG vaccination should not be given to pregnant women because the effects on the fetus are not known yet. It should also not be given to people who’s immune systems are suppressed for example those with HIV. The BCG vaccination has been found to be more successful with tuberculous meningitis and not as successful with pulmonary TB. Nevertheless, the BCG vaccination has been found to be an extremely safe vaccine and is used around the world in a fight against TB.

Puppy vaccination schedule

Filed under: Health Information — admin @ 5:55 pm

Puppy vaccination schedule
A new puppy in the house is as much joy and responsibility as a baby. Just as babies have to be taken care of, and taught right from wrong, so does a puppy need that love and care and guidance. Puppies in the house are much more than mere pets. They are part of the family and sometimes the best companion one could have. It is thus important that the health and well being of the puppy also be of primary concern, not only because it is in the best interest of the animal, but also because it is in close contact with humans and should not be the cause of any illness. With this in mind, we have available puppy vaccination schedules that provide guidance about what vaccinations that should be given to puppies and when they should be given. One thing that should be kept in mind when referring to puppy vaccination schedules is that there could be differences depending on the breed of the puppy, and thus a veterinarian should always be consulted when vaccination your puppy. Puppies, like human babies, receive natural antibodies from their mother through the placenta when in the womb. They also get antibodies from the colostrum rich first milk for the first 48 hours. However, the puppy only gets antibodies for those diseases for which the mother has recently had vaccinations or was exposed to. When following a puppy vaccination schedule, it is important to remember that while the puppy has antibodies from the mother, the vaccines will not work. Thus one should wait till the maternal antibody levels fall to a level low enough such that commercial vaccinations will work. Generally all puppy vaccination schedules suggest the puppy have its first set of vaccinations between 6-8 weeks. This will involve a core set of vaccines for Distemper, Leptospirosis, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvo virus, & Corona virus (DLHPPC) along with deworming and a physical examination. The puppy vaccination schedule recommends that this core set of vaccines be repeated every 3-4 weeks till the puppy is about 16 weeks of age. At 10-12 weeks of age, the puppy receives the core vaccines along with a Kennel Cough vaccination. According to the puppy vaccination schedule, at 14-16 weeks, along with the core vaccines, the puppy gets its first rabies shot. Following this, the puppy vaccination schedule suggests that annually the puppy get a core vaccine booster, a kennel cough booster and a rabies booster shot. Taking care of a puppy is hard work and a Puppy vaccination schedule is one thing that helps you plan out what is in the best interest of your family pet so that the puppy and you can enjoy good health and joy.
